It has been a little busy lately but I believe I promised you some photos taken by my friend, Charlotte B., during our afternoon at the swamp (AKA Lake Martin Bird Sanctuary just outside of Breaux Bridge, LA).  Without further ado...

I was so excited to spot this H-U-G-E turtle sunning himself!!  Charlotte kindly accommodated my request for a photo.

I do hope you have enjoyed our little ride through the swampland!  We had a lovely time looking for good photo opps.  I would never have known this place existed but for Charlotte!!  Be sure you listen when a friend suggests you do something you've never done before.  You just might be amazed at what you find.
